Project Scope
Grid Construction was engaged to design, detail, supply, and install multiple mining support infrastructures, catering to the diverse operational needs of the mining site.
Project DELIVERABLES
Heavy Vehicle Workshop (2,390m²)
The workshop featured a 50-ton and 5-ton overhead gantry crane for heavy lifting, jacking pads, service vehicle facilities for maintenance, and a 410m² office and amenities area for workshop management and staff.
Light Vehicle Workshop (410m²)
Designed to cater to light vehicle maintenance needs, the workshop included a 120m² office facility for management and staff to oversee operations and provide administrative support.
Fabrication Workshop (205m²)
Designed to improve the efficiency and safety of fabrication processes, this workshop features a 6-ton overhead gantry crane for maintaining and fabricating mining and Ground Engaging Tools (GET) equipment.
Plant Maintenance Building (145m²)
This facility, designed for organised and efficient plant maintenance, includes a 72m² tool store and office to support tool and equipment management.
Covered Hardstand Jacking Pad and Tyre Change Facility (510m²)
Designed for heavy vehicles, this facility featured a 130m² tool store and office, supporting efficient jacking, tyre changes, and operations.
